Blast Skates is a UK skateboard company headed up by artist/skater Matthew Bromley.
Based in South London they work with local artists and skaters producing limited decks and plenty of old skool shapes - and you know we love shaped decks at Conflict.
The Blast Skates logo takes it’s inspiration from 1950s/60s advertising - I can't picture exactly what but the yellow character seems very familiar. The Blast philosophy that skating should be fun is evident in their videos and graphics something that is missing from too many big brands today.
Enjoy skating Have a Blast!
This one is straight out of the Fos (Heroin Skateboards main man) skool of deck design - big, wide and with plenty of "shape".
It's got steep kicks with a nose either slightly longer or slightly shorter than the tail depending which front holes you use. That nose is very square and the tail a more rounded square profile.
A huge deck which looks cool and is a lot of maple for your cash.
This thing just looks so much fun.
Trucks - Indy 215s, Slappy 10", Bullet 185s, Ace 10", etc. You could use 169s if rolling on some extra wide wheels.
Wheels - whatever your favourites modern pool/park/street wheels are.
Transport/cruiser wheels - OJ "Hot Juice", Hawgs "Fatties", etc.
