Re-issue of the first G&S Doug Saladino pro model, originally released in 1979.
This is just like the original in size, shape, burnt in G&S logo , wheel wells and specs but importantly the grip tape job is just as back in the day too. It is the "proper" type of grip tape- the really thick sparkly grip that came on Alva, Z-Flex and G&S boards back in the 70s...wish we could buy this stuff today, we'd sell rolls of it. ;-)

The only differences are that the ply is now better quality. It is even drilled for old hole trucks so you can fit your old 70s/80s ones to it

Also, just like the original from the 70s,the graphic is a sticker not a printed design.
Get one now for the wall or to ride whilst they are available - not been available for years!
NOTE: The stain colours in showing in the wheel wells may vary. This one has 2 black stained plies.
Set Up Advice:
Trucks: Gullwing Pro III, Indy 159s/169s, Sushi 8.875, Tracker 6 Track, etc (must have the old holes!) The reissued Indy Stage 4 trucks are perfect. They look old skool, have the 6 holes baseplates and come in a range of sizes.
Wheels : G&S YoYos, Alva Conical, OJ Hot Juice, etc.
Risers : 1/4" or 1/2" - loads in the store in cool 70s colours to match the wheels.
I'd be going for Indy Stage 4s in just 8 inch but with the YoYo wheels which add a good bit of width.
...or the 8.75 inch stage 4s with some OJ Little Doodies (spherical wheels like the 70s G&S Rock n Rolls)

NOTE : The griptape on these is factory cut and applied by hand. It is not always mm perfect to the deck shape or applied 100% "square" or central. Expect minor variations. This is exactly how they were back in the day. They all look great but if you are one of those who is gonna get the micrometre out....
