It's been over 40 years since the Doug Saladino first rode for G&S they have re-issued his "Pine Design II" deck & it's just like you remember it from back in late 1979! It's got the cool routed out rails with custom stickers in the recesses. I remember it really well as I've got an original one hanging up here! ;-)
The base on the original ones was a sort of plastic polymer layer.
The reissue has a standard maple ply base layer which is dyed red - the same colour as the original plastic base layer.
It's got the same zero concave (flat) 10.25" wide by 30.25" long with factory diecut grip and a Pine Design sticker on top.
Even the holes are old 70s style so if you have some original trucks kicking around they'll fit it but most wide modern trucks tend to have both old and new holes so they too will work with it.

This looks superb- as good as any 70s re-issue we've seen.
