 Brand new, re-issued Hosoi "Hammerhead" - original version from the mid/late 80s.
Classic and iconic board from Christian's own company...great to see him back in the industry. 

Probably the most iconic shaped skateboard deck of all time.
Mellow concave , a steep tail & a flat nose .
All pretty much as the original; same shape, concave, size, tail, etc. but now drilled for modern trucks.

This one we have set-up here to be great performing but still period correct...it's gotta look good but still ride great.

The trucks are Sushi 8.875" which are based in Indy trucks so look pretty similar & turn about the same but are way cheaper.  Good, well made and strong though despite their cheapness. ;-)
Mounted on 1/4" risers to give wheel clearance and avoid wheelbite.

The wheels are reissue Powell "Rat Bones" in black urethane & 85a hardness...the same era as the deck.

They are a good bit softer than most modern wheels at 85a so will smooth out the rougher surfaces and grip on those slippery parks more than the harder wheels. These ones are soft enough to make great transport wheels as they are the softest of the re-issued Rat Bones.

Best sellers from the mid 80s, wider than modern wheels so they won't flat as easily and not too huge in diameter.

Note : The board isn't  built in the pictures.   It will be built and complete when we send it out unless you request it in parts in which case we can leave everything separate for you.  Just let us know at time of purchasing - see the options.
