POWELL PERALTA "Dragon Formula - Nano Rats" Skateboard Wheels 54mm x 34mm V4 97a WHITE USA

"Dragon Formula - Nano Rats"

Team Wheels
DF-97a Dragon Formula

54mm diameter

39mm Wide!

New super wide wheels in Powell's superb Dragon Formula Urethane.

These are a narrower version of the asymmetric Nano-Rat shape.

Plus they are in Powell's magical Dragon formula but in a new harder 97a - I did find the 93s a touch too grippy in the local skate park.

These newer 97a versions are now on my board and...they are the best wheels I've ever rolled on!

At first I hated them as they seemed so grippy (local indoor wooden park).  By the end of a short evening session though I was totally loving them.  Grip when needed but still easy enough to slide and revert.  I found there were loads of simple things which I could suddenly do again without worrying about sliding out - we all know how icy wood can be. ;-)

I've since skated them on concrete outdoor parks and am still totally loving that 97a Dragon formula.

Nano-Rats make each side of the wheel do what it should to make skating easier and more fun.  An outer edge like you are use to, a lock-on inner edge and center set bearings give you a wheel that will upgrade your ride without changing the balance of your set up. Half way between Nano-Cubics and traditional symmetrical wheels, Nano-Rats provide an easy way to make the Dragon Formula work even better for you.

• Asymmetrical double radial design

• Radial or side cut outer edge

• Lock-in radial inner edge

• Center set bearings

• Wider riding surface for stability.

Not your typical wheel.

Urethane:

• 97A Dragon Formula
• Skate everything urethane
• Slick on ledges and flip tricks
• Fast in pools and bowls
• Forgiving on city streets
• Solid at the skatepark

NOTE : Like all white urethane wheels these may have some slight discolouration. It happens to all white urethane over time but does not affect their performance.
