The Santa Cruz Skateboards Lucero Street Thing Reissue 10.18" x 30.1" Deck features John Lucero's classic 80's shape and metallic artwork on a fully dipped deck with Cruz Missile ll concave and an an extra set of front mounting holes for an adjustable wheelbase of 14.75" - 15.25". 

Never before reissued!

Finally a reissue of a deck I actually rode back in the 80s! LOL.

Construction
7 ply North American Maple pressed individually using epoxy - making a strong, responsive deck with long lasting pop and consistent concave and kick.

Concave
Cruz Missile ll concave is Santa Cruz's infamous tech concave from the 1980s with aggressive, multi-dimensional side to side concave and tail kick along with forward set rocker that comfortably lock in your feet in key areas for a completely unique riding experience - cruising the streets or skating transition on old school or shaped decks with longer tail than nose.

This is the same concave which is used on the ever popular Winkowski decks.  I'm riding a Roskop "Target Eye" deck right now which also has this concave - I love it!   The tail has a little "flip" at the end which really helps lock your back foot in place - great for old skool skaters who are not flipping every 2 seconds.  The front rocker gives a lower ride height too.  It really is super different feeling to a regular double kick press.

Set up Advice:

Trucks - 169s / 9.0" sized. e.g. Indy 169s, Gullwing Pro III, Krux 9.0", etc. (149 / 159s sized trucks could also be used  especially if using wider wheels)

Wheels - Santa Cruz; Slimballs, Powell "G-Bones" or "Rat Bones"; Dogtown k9s, Alva Conicals, etc.

Transport Wheels - S.C. Slimeball "OG". Super soft (78a hardness), fast, hardwearing, symmetrical wheels with old skool graphics available in a range of bright colours.
