Dressen "Spider" modern pool shaped meets an "egg" Deck from Santa Cruz.
This one is custom design by Eric Dressen. It is almost a classic egg shape but has a hint of square to the tail which makes it a little modern pool looking.
Whatever shape it is, it's a rad looking shaped deck at a great price.
You can set it up as a radical park ripper or put soft wheels and make it a super fun cruiser/transport board.
The concave is medium with a double kick profile. The nose is a little longer than the tail on this one just like most modern decks.
A lovely deck for all skating styles but extra good for transition riding.
Santa Cruz on the Spider:
7 ply North American Maple pressed individually using epoxy - making a strong, responsive deck with long lasting pop and consistent concave and kick.
ATV is a universal medium-depth concave with symmetrical nose and tail kick that performs well in all terrains on a wide variety of shapes - for anybody, anywhere.
Set up Advice:
Trucks - 169s or 159s (8.75" to 9.0") : Indy 159s, Indy Stage 4 166, Krux 9.0, Thunder 161s, Slappy 9", Sushi 8.875", etc.
Wheels - Santa Cruz Slimeballs; OJ Teamrider; Powell Peralta Rat Bones or G-Bones; Dogtown K9s; Alva Conical, etc.
If you fancy more modern wheels then keep them 54mm or bigger unless you are seeking that early 90s tiny wheel vibe?
